![]() ![]() This elegant and unique apartment is hidden away in the very heart of old Trastevere just steps away from all of Rome’s attractions and shops. A light and quiet ground floor residence which is easy walking distance along cobblestone streets, to typical trattorias, local markets, river Tiber (Tevere) and Rome’s Botanical Gardens. It’s 5 minutes to the Vatican. The double-height ceiling living room is furnished with a large sofa, cozy armchairs and a media center. A large archway leads through onto a private outdoor patio courtyard, perfect for “al fresco” entertaining and relaxing. The spacious master bedroom is decorated in a typical Roman style and has a king size bed, a large closet, a working desk and en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The other ample double bedroom, with it’s own private street entrance, is furnished with two comfortable queen sized sofa beds, a closet and leads onto its own charming bathroom with a shower. The original cellar has been transformed into a private spa for total relaxation and recharging after a day of sightseeing and shopping and it includes a double sized hydrotherapy bath and a Swedish sauna. The apartment is equipped with a full kitchen area and with a comfortable dining table arrangement. This apartment is located, right in the center of ancient Rome, in one of the city's most beautiful districts where you can experience authentic Roman “dolce vita” lifestyle!
Taken from a Latin phrase meaning "across the Tiber ," the name refers to Trastevere's location on the west bank of the city's river. Historically a center for artisans, immigrants as well as the rich and famous (Julius Cesar had a villa here), Trastevere retains its bohemian appeal. Stucco buildings and homes dating from the 16th century drip with ivy, their rose, terracotta and ochre colors bleached by the Roman sun. Laundry and flower-filled window boxes hang above the district's narrow alleys. You could spend months exploring Trastevere's twisted alleys and extraordinary eateries and never grow bored. Amenities include: terrace, fiber optic Wifi, flat screen TV, DVD/CD, air conditioning, washing machine, microwave, jacuzzi tub, sauna and independent heating. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
