Villa Catia is located on top of a hill offering superb panoramic views, in a sunny position, and surrounded by a nature of unspoiled beauty. Built by ancient masons according to those simple but rational principles required by the Tuscan rural family of that time, it can be appreciated today for offering a highly comfortable accommodation. Catia is an elegant villa that has retained its original architecture (the old ochre stones of the facade, the vaulted halls, the beamed ceiling and the cotto floors), while providing all the modern comforts, to maintain a balance between appreciation of the past and desire of offering tangible signs of today’s life in southern Tuscany. The latest generation of owners has given a new appearance to the house as well as to the family business, which is located between Veneto and Trentino Alto Adige, and is devoted to the cultivation of medicinal plants and ancient fruit varieties with organic farming methods, transforming them into beneficial products for health. A passion for Tuscany, together with a profound love of nature are perfectly expressed at and have allowed the current owners to create a little corner of Paradise in Tuscany where you are pampered in an atmosphere that will take you back to childhood and where you will gradually perceive the scents, colours and sensations that will warm your heart. It is also possible to buy and enjoy the biological and organic products (essential oils, fruit preserves, herbal infusions, aromatic salts, juices, syrups) produced by the owners. Villa Accommodation – sleeping 8 people (4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms)On the ground floor there is a spacious hall which is connected on one side with a lovely, and very light fully equipped kitchen with working fireplace. The adjoining bedroom in a relaxing lavender color has a double bed and there is a large en suite bathroom with bathtub and separate large shower. The third bedroom in a warm pomegranate color has a double bed, a large bath-tub and a sink in the room, plus a separate en suite toilet room. There is also a wonderful view of the hills. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, a big gas oven, full refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, blender and a working fireplace. Next to the patio there is the large, stone barbecue. From the portico there is a view of the swimming pool and the gently rolling hills.
