This gorgeous property is located in the still fairly unspoilt region between Pisa and Volterra, an area renowned for the wine, olive oil and truffles and rich in characteristic small villages. The position is one of the most convenient for visiting Tuscany. Pisa, Florence and Volterra are less than one hour away and in just 15 minutes you can reach Casciana Terme with its thermal Spa. The nearest village is approximately 3 miles from the villa with shops, wine bars and restaurants- plus a few miles further is the village of Lajatico, famous for the "Teatro del Silenzio", an open-air amphitheater set in a beautiful natural scenery. The founder and President is the renowned Italian Tenor Andrea Bocelli, who performs there every year. Il Podere is set on a hilltop position, with commanding views on the valley and gentle hills, surrounded by a large manicured garden enhanced by several relaxing areas. 

The house has been restored to the highest standard in order to guarantee a perfect combination of Tuscan tradition and contemporary décor. The bright interiors have been conceived to create the highest sense of comfort and relaxation: the spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning, offer scenic views of the countryside; the large windows of the several living and dining areas provide a sense of continuity with the nature. Several pieces of arts and modern design, such as Murano glass pieces, complement the unique charm of this property. Further than modern amenities such as wi-fi and air-conditioning (at extra cost), the property offers a large pool terrace with high quality furniture. The pool has also a shallow end, making it ideal for children.

Large living room with fireplace opening on to the veranda and garden furnished for outdoor meals; dining room opening on to the patio and garden; kitchen with BBQ; laundry room; guest bathroom; double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only).  

In a very panoramic position, overlooking the pool and the valley there is a separate dining room with glass doors on three sides, with BBQ, wood oven and kitchen corner, opening on a panoramic terrace furnished with deck-chairs.

All bedrooms have air-conditioning.

Maid service is included 15 hours per week. Cook available on request
